The king
Step 1 of 7
The king is the most important piece. It can move in any direction, but only one square. The king on e4 can go to any of the eight marked squares.
Watch the king move: one square at a time.

Collect the two stars with the king in two moves.

The stars are a little further away. Collect both with the king in four moves.

The king may never move onto a square the opponent attacks. The black rook on a5 attacks every square of the 5th rank. So the king cannot go to d5, e5 or f5.
The king is on e4, and there are two black rooks. Which of the squares next to the king can it not go to? Tap all of them.
Task in progress
Black pawns attack diagonally, downwards: the pawn on e6 protects the pawn on d5. The king cannot capture a protected piece, because it would step into an attack. Capture the unprotected pawn first, then the other one.
